A few weeks back I met up with Krissy and Steve and their dog Cody for a relaxed e-session. Krissy, Steve, and I clicked right away, even if Cody seemed to be deathly afraid of my camera. I was able to use a spot I’ve had my eye on for quite a while now and I think it ended up being a great place to end the session. I’m super excited for their wedding coming up in a few weeks. It was a rainy day for Tricia + Kevin‘s big day, but it managed to stop for all the times we needed it too. Tricia + Kevin were married right here in Ann Arbor at St. Mary’s Student Parish with a reception following at Kensington Court. It was nice to see they Skyped the ceremony to some family that were not able to make it…gotta love technology! I had oodles of fun at their wedding and loved watching Kevin cut loose. Well I got to photograph Kendall and Ryan for a third time and this time it was their wedding! I had a blast both times I photographed the two of them, so I knew there big day wasn’t going to be any different. Just to make it even more awesome, they had their reception at my absolute favorite place to see a concert…the amazingly gorgeous Fillmore Theatre and even had the band Soulstice on stage for entertainment. The Fillmore is right downtown Detroit across the street from where Kendall and Ryan love to hang out…Comerica Park, home of the Detroit Tigers! They also said their vows at one of the most beautiful churches in Michigan, the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament. My good friend and awesome photographer, Kelly Braman, came along to help me document their day. I had a lot of fun sharing their day with them…thank you Kendall and Ryan…enjoy your pics!
I met Haley + Matt last year at Raechel + Josh’s wedding. We met up for their e-session in downtown Detroit and spent a couple hours walking around chatting and shooting. After the session we went to Pizza Papalis for some delicious Chicago style deep dish pizza…mmm. I’m excited for their wedding later this month. Thanks for making your session much…enjoy your pics!
