While photographing Emily, I randomly shot a few quick clips.  I created a short little movie, which I’m calling a motion portrait…I feel it does a great job of showing Emily’s presence as well as a feel for the sessions itself.  Enjoy :)

I’ve wanted to photograph Kate for a while, so we made it happen on a crazy hot day.  Kate, who is as equally awesome behind the camera, as in front of it came out to Ann Arbor for some pics and sushi :)  I love how everything turned out, but have to give her equal amount of credit for being so wonderful to photograph.  All images shot with my Contax 645 loaded with Fuji 400H and the 45 f/2.8, 80 f/2, and 140 f/2.8 lenses.

I photographed Haley & Matt’s wedding back in 2009, so when I found out they has a new member to the family, I asked if I could come over and hang out with them and their newest addition Leah for a few hours :)  Thanks for letting me come over and grab a few shots of your family….

What to say about this awesome family????  Yup, already said it.  I had such a great time in Cancun while I was down there for Rachel & Jeff’s wedding and while every single person that was there for the wedding was great, the Wiemkens really made it extra great for me.  I love my family a lot, but I wouldn’t mind being a member of this family…that are that great of a group of people…true story.  Randy, Kim, Rachel, Jeff, Ben, Megan, Ethan, and Libby, thank you so much for showing me a good time :)

Gail came to Ann Arbor last week and we met up for brunch, walked around the Arb a little and had a spot of tea afterwards.  Gail is a wonderful photographer from Indiana and has ridiculously good taste in tunes and flicks ;)  I snapped two pics of her when we were walking around the Arb…doesn’t she look great?!?

These were shot on my Contax 645 with 80 f/2 and the camera was loaded with Kodak Portra 400…processing and scanning done by yours truly:)
