Tricia & Kevin | Engagement

You might remember Tricia and Kevin from their engagement session I did last October.  We decided to get together again and take a few more shots at Gallup Park in Ann Arbor.  One of the things I love about Tricia and Kevin, is how good they are at acting like the camera is not there and just having a good time.  It was nice seeing you two again and I’m excited for your wedding.  I’m glad you enjoyed The Blue Tractor too!  Enjoy the pics.

Kara & Jonathan | Wedding

Here are some pics from Kara and Jonathan’s wedding from the 14th!  A big thanks to my friend Rachael, who came a long to help me document Kara and Jonathan’s big day and a big thanks to Kara and Jonathan for being so much fun to work with…thanks you two!  We started out at the salon where Kara works, Utopia, and had it all to ourselves.

My 101st post…

I just realized yesterday, that I have written 100 posts, so that makes this number 101!  I just wanted to share something that I’m a fan of and it is called Every Man Jack.  Every Man Jack make products for men for hair, body, skin, and shaving needs.  I’ve been using their products for about a year now and I just love all of them.  I purchase them at Target, as I’m not sure where else to find them.  I was excited to see that they have a travel kit now and since I’ve been doing a bit of traveling, it makes it easier on me, so I don’t have to carry around the full size bottles…it even comes with a little plastic bag for TSA regulations.  My favorite product is the post-shave face lotion…do you have a favorite?

Wayne Toshikazu - Ha… I think I just found my twin brother, except you are neither Japanese nor look anything like me. Every Man Jack makes great stuff, and that would definitely be my product of choice, IF the Italian company Proraso (which is now made by C.O. Bigelow) didn’t make such amazing stuff. Their shaving cream is the best you can find in a brick and mortar store, and the eucalyptus and menthol blends are amazing. Love it!

Okay, don’t tell anyone I made such a big deal about shaving cream or men’s facial products. LOL!

Jacob Mariano - The Post-Shave face lotion is the only Every Man Jack product I use. I do own some of the other products, however I still only use the lotion.

Lindsay & Nick | Engagement

Lindsay, Nick, and I met up on a very big night in our area…it was game 7 of the Stanley Cup playoffs and our Red Wings were in it.  Unfortunately they lost, but we love them still.  I met Lindsay and Nick through Zayna and Rani who got married last year, so I knew they were going to be my kind of people.  I photographed them in Farmington at the Governor’s Mansion that is actually a little museum of sorts.  I had fun with you two and I’m sorry the Wings lost Nick…we all are:)
